HoneyCall Account and Data Deletion Request

This page explains how to delete your HoneyCall data, as described in Section 8 of our Privacy Policy. HoneyCall stores the majority of its data locally on your device and provides no separate in-app account-deletion entry. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

How to Delete Your HoneyCall Account and Data

  • Method 1 - Uninstall the app: Uninstalling HoneyCall immediately deletes all data stored locally on your device (account information, family-number bindings, device/push identifiers, and call records).
  • Method 2 - Email request (for server-side data): Send a deletion request to support@payphone.com.cn, stating the phone number you registered with HoneyCall.

After identity verification, we will complete the deletion of your server-side data within 30 days.

1. What Data Is Deleted

The following data is stored locally on your device and is deleted automatically when you uninstall the app:

  • Account information: your registered phone number and account credentials
  • Family-number bindings: phone numbers of family members or contacts you have entered
  • Device and push identifiers: device ID (terminal ID) and push tokens (e.g., FCM Token)
  • Call records: call logs and related service data stored on your device

2. How to Delete Your Data

We provide two ways to delete your data:

  • Uninstall the app: Uninstalling HoneyCall deletes all locally stored data on your device; no in-app account-deletion entry is needed
  • Email deletion request (for server-side data): Send a deletion request from your email to support@payphone.com.cn, stating the phone number you registered with HoneyCall

3. Identity Verification

For the security of your account, when handling a server-side deletion request we will verify the identity information in your request (e.g., your registered phone number). We will proceed with deletion only after verification is complete.

4. Processing Time and Effects

  • Local data is deleted immediately when you uninstall the app
  • Server-side data will be deleted or anonymized within 30 days of receiving your verified request, and can no longer be recovered
  • Information that we are required by law to retain will be kept only for as long as such legal obligations require and will remain protected

5. Important Notice

Data deletion is irreversible. After uninstalling or deletion, you will no longer be able to recover any associated data. Please back up any information you may need (e.g., your family-number list) before uninstalling or requesting deletion.
